My name is Danielle Vetter and I am very excited about this school year, and having a part in your child's education. This is my 13th year in teaching in Menomonee Falls and 11th year in kindergarten. I hope this website will assist you throughout the school year. It is a great resource for you to use to help bridge the gap between school and home.
I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. In 2009 I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Technology through Marian University.
CLASSES I TEACH
I teach all day five-year-old kindergarten. Everyday your child will receive instruction in reading, writing, and math. I also teach social studies and science two to three times each week. The reading curriculum includes reading workstations, small guided reading groups, shared reading in large group, and independent reading. The writing curriculum is based off of Lucy Calkins, but also includes six trait writing. In math your child will be learning through daily lessons, math workstations as well as at home activities.
The best way to reach me is through email (firstname.lastname@example.org). I check my email several times throughout the day and usually respond promptly. You can also reach me by phone (255-8484). The main office will connect you to my classroom/voice mail.
